6AL/4V Titanium Blade w/Carbide Edge

This knife is a good choice when you work in a corrosive environment or require light weight.

We add a layer of carbide to the edge of the Titanium for optimal edge retention. The carbides provide a micro serrated edge that is impregnated into the blade. Carbide is extremely hard, and significantly increases the edge holding capabilities of titanium.

To sharpen all you do is take a couple of strokes on the non-coated side, and with use the blade will even sharpen itself as the Ti is worn down more quickly than the harder carbide edge.

The knives are shipped with Type 316 stainless steel screws which provide excellent corrosion resistance and may be mildly magnetic. Remove the handle and screws with a hex key if you need a completely non-magnetic knife. Each of the knives shown below is a Titanium version of our existing 1095 blades.
