The TIGA is the 3rd Grayman folder ( "Tiga" is the Indonesian word for three, pronounced TEE' ga). The TIGA is precision machined from CTS XHP steel and Titanium. 100% made in the USA. The handle is sculpted and surfaced Titanium on both sides. 7.2 oz.
Grayman Knives are known for being heavy duty workhorses, and the Tiga is no exception. Whether it’s skinning, slicing, scoring, caping or self defense, the Tiga is designed for hard use.
Following in the Satu and Dua tradition, the Tiga was purpose built to be a hard use, primitive skills folder. The Tiga is in between the Satu and Dua in size and shares many of their characteristics: Solid titanium handle, stonewash finish for a muted “grayman” appearance, thick knife blade, solid lockup, stainless hardware, phospher bronze washers, 100% made in the USA.
The handle has been sculpted and textured for a strong grip. The cutting edge length is similar to the Dua, while incorporating the width of the Satu to give a larger blade surface for its length. The Tiga’s blade is slightly thicker than the Dua’s, with a strong tip for penetration. The top of the spine allows you to “choke up” on the blade for more delicate tasks. A choil has been added for easier sharpening on the go.
For those times when you can’t carry a fixed blade, the Grayman Satu, Dua and Tiga are designed to be the next best thing.
